Scanned pages are often slightly skewed. Use the Tilt Angle control in Studio Tools to rotate your edited text in 0.5° steps until it sits exactly on the original tilted line, then download with the tilt preserved.

New text can look unnaturally sharp on a scanned or photocopied page. The editor measures how soft the original print is and suggests a matching Ink & Scan Blend level (0% for crisp digital PDFs, up to 80% for blurry scans), which you can fine-tune in 5% steps so edits blend in with the surrounding text.
06. Edit Multiple Lines at Once with Select Area
Choose Select Area and drag a box over a paragraph, list, or table block. From the popup menu, pick Edit Text to rewrite every line inside the box together, or Drag, Whiteout, Snip Area, Highlight, or Copy to act on the whole selection at once.
07. Snip Area for Textured or Watermarked Paper
On patterned paper, security backgrounds, or tinted scans, a plain white box stands out. How do I align edited text with a tilted line in a scanned PDF?
Select the text and use the Tilt Angle control in Studio Tools to rotate it clockwise or counter-clockwise in 0.5° steps until it lines up with the original skewed line; one click resets it to 0°. The tilt is preserved in the downloaded PDF.
How do I make edited text look like the rest of a scanned or photocopied page?
Use Ink & Scan Blend. The editor analyses how soft the original print is and suggests a matching blend (around 30–55% for typical scans, up to 80% for blurry copies, near 0% for crisp digital PDFs). How do I edit text over watermarks, stamps, or colored paper without white boxes?
In the floating draft text toolbar, use the Background Selector. Choose "[None]" (Transparent) to seamlessly edit text over security watermarks, stamps, or patterned backgrounds without creating a solid white rectangle.
