2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and optionally a profile avatar via Google OAuth or email/password login.
- Resume Data: When you use the ATS Resume Scanner, the resume content you upload is processed to generate analysis results. Resume text is stored temporarily and linked to your account for viewing past results.
- Image Data (AI Alt-Text): When you use the AI Alt-Text generation feature in the Image Studio, the image you submit is transmitted to our secure server endpoint for processing by a third-party AI model (Google Gemini). The image data is not stored on our servers after processing completes; only the generated alt-text result is returned to you. All other Image Studio operations (compression, conversion, resizing, format conversion) occur entirely within your browser and no image data is sent to our servers.
- Data Studio (27-Format Structured Data & Queries): All 27-format conversions (JSON, XML, CSV, YAML, SQL, Go, Rust, TypeScript, C#, Python, PHP, Ruby, ActionScript, VBScript, HTML Table, Markdown, GraphQL), pipeline transformations, JSONPath/XPath queries, and JSON Schema auto-inferences execute 100% locally within your browser memory using Web Workers and client-side JS execution. No raw data payloads, converted output strings, or query expressions are transmitted to or stored on our external servers.
- PDF & Document Studio Data: All PDF operations (merging, splitting, compressing, password protection, watermarking, page reordering, page numbering, and image-to-PDF conversion) execute 100% locally within your browser memory using Web Workers and WebAssembly. No PDF documents or page contents are sent to, processed by, or stored on our external servers.
- Compare Studio & Formatter Studio Code Data: Diff calculations, AST tree analyses, and code beautifications execute 100% locally within your browser memory via Web Workers. No source code strings or diff payloads are sent to or stored on external servers. If you explicitly request Gemini AI Diff Intelligence, only the selected diff hunk is transmitted temporarily to an AI endpoint to generate explanations and is discarded immediately after processing. Recent Comparison History: When you click "Find Difference & Compare", the input text from both editors is saved to your browser's local storage (
compare_studio_history_v1) so you can quickly reload past comparisons. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers. You can clear it at any time using the "Clear" button in the Recent Comparison History panel, or by clearing your browser's local storage. - Payment Information: We use Razorpay as our payment processor. We do not store your card number, bank details, or full payment credentials on our servers. Razorpay processes and stores this data under their own privacy policy.
- Communication: If you contact us via email, we collect the content of your message and your email address.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with our tools, including pages visited, features used, scan history, and session duration.
- Device & Browser Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers may be logged for security and analytics purposes.
- Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate user behaviour. This service may use cookies and similar tracking technologies.
- Cookies: We use cookies to manage secure sessions, remember your theme/UI settings, and serve advertisements through Google AdSense. Third-party advertisers (including Google) set tracking cookies on your browser to show personalized ads based on your visit history across techyCoderWorld and other websites on the Internet.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account and authenticate your sessions.
- To provide the ATS Resume Scanner, Image Studio, and other developer and productivity tools you request.
- To process images submitted to the AI Alt-Text feature via our secure server endpoint and return results to you, without retaining the image data.
- To manage subscriptions, credit balances, and billing via Razorpay.
- To improve our platform through aggregated, anonymised analytics.
- To send transactional emails (e.g., payment confirmations). We do not send unsolicited marketing emails.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security violations.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: Supabase (database & auth hosting), Razorpay (payment processing), Google Analytics (usage analytics), and Vercel (hosting). Each provider is contractually bound to handle your data securely.
- Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government authority, we may disclose your data to the extent required.
- Business Transfer: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred to the successor entity under equivalent privacy protections.
5. Google AdSense and Personalized Advertising
We display advertisements served by Google AdSense on our platform to support our operations. As part of this service:
- Personalized Advertising: Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to techyCoderWorld or other websites on the Internet.
- DoubleClick DART Cookie:Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Opt-Out Options:You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting the AboutAds Portal.
Opting out of personalized ads does not stop ads from appearing. It simply means Google will serve non-personalized ads based on the page context rather than your personal browsing history.
6. Data Processing Details by Tool
ATS Resume Scanner: When you use the ATS Resume Scanner, your uploaded resume content is used exclusively to generate your scan results. We do not use your resume data to train AI models, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising. Resume text may be retained in our database linked to your account so you can view past analyses. You may delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
Image Studio — Compression, Conversion & Resizing: All image processing operations in the Image Studio (compression, format conversion, resizing, cropping, favicon generation, and related image transformations) run 100% inside your browser using Web Workers and the Canvas API. Your images are never uploaded to our servers for these operations. We do not collect, store, or transmit your image files.
Image Studio — AI Alt-Text Generation: The AI Alt-Text feature sends your selected image to our server-side API endpoint (/api/image/alt-text), which passes the image to a third-party AI model (Google Gemini) to generate descriptive alternative text. The image data is processed transiently and is not stored on our servers after the response is returned. This feature consumes 2 credits per request.
Developer Formatter Studio Processing: The Developer Formatter Studio operates 100% client-side inside your browser. Any source code, JSON templates, SQL scripts, HTML configurations, or variables you input are processed locally in your browser memory cache. We do not transmit, collect, or store this data on our servers.
Learning Visualizers (Event Loop & React Fiber): All visualizer interactions are fully client-side. No input data is transmitted to our servers.
Engineering Blog & CMS Engine: Reading blog articles does not track or store personal identifiers. Administrative use of the obfuscated Content Management System (CMS) registers administrator emails and draft revisions transiently inside secure database tables.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Aggregated, anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS/HTTPS encryption in transit, Row-Level Security (RLS) policies on our Supabase database, rate limiting, Content Security Policy (CSP) headers, and bcrypt-based authentication. However, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised account access.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data.
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
