• Resume Data: When you use the ATS Resume Scanner, the resume content you upload is processed to generate analysis results. Resume text is stored temporarily and linked to your account for viewing past results.
• Payment Information: We use Razorpay as our payment processor. We do not store your card number, bank details, or full payment credentials on our servers. Razorpay processes and stores this data under their own privacy policy.
• Communication: If you contact us via email, we collect the content of your message and your email address.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with our tools, including pages visited, features used, scan history, and session duration.
• Device & Browser Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers may be logged for security and analytics purposes.
• Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate user behaviour. This service may use cookies and similar tracking technologies.
• Cookies: We use essential cookies for authentication sessions and functional cookies to remember your theme preferences. No third-party advertising cookies are set by us.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your account and authenticate your sessions.
• To provide the ATS Resume Scanner and other developer tools you request.
• To manage subscriptions, credit balances, and billing via Razorpay.
• To improve our platform through aggregated, anonymised analytics.
• To send transactional emails (e.g., payment confirmations). We do not send unsolicited marketing emails.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security violations.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: Supabase (database & auth hosting), Razorpay (payment processing), Google Analytics (usage analytics), and Vercel (hosting). Each provider is contractually bound to handle your data securely.
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government authority, we may disclose your data to the extent required.
• Business Transfer: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred to the successor entity under equivalent privacy protections.

5. Resume Data and AI Processing

When you use the ATS Resume Scanner, your uploaded resume content is used exclusively to generate your scan results. We do not use your resume data to train AI models, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising. Resume text may be retained in our database linked to your account so you can view past analyses. You may delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Aggregated, anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS/HTTPS encryption in transit, Row-Level Security (RLS) policies on our Supabase database, rate limiting, Content Security Policy (CSP) headers, and bcrypt-based authentication. However, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised account access.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data.
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
