How the invoice generator works

Fill in your business, your customer and the items. The tool works out the tax and totals, writes the amount in words and lays it out in the format you choose.

  1. 01

    GST or no GST

Choose GST to split tax by place of supply, a single tax such as VAT, or no tax for businesses that are not registered. Without tax the title becomes "Invoice".

  2. 02

    Payment details on the invoice

Add your bank details, a payment link or a UPI ID. The UPI QR code opens any UPI app with the amount filled in, and after a part payment it asks only for the balance.

  3. 03

    GST copies and e-invoice details

Print the copy marking GST rules ask for (original, duplicate, triplicate), or all copies in one PDF. If you report invoices on the e-invoice portal, paste the IRN and signed QR it gives you.

  4. 04

    Next steps

From an invoice you can make a payment receipt, a credit note, a debit note or a delivery challan without retyping anything.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about this tool.

What makes it a GST tax invoice?

Your GSTIN, the customer details, a unique invoice number and date, HSN or SAC codes, the taxable value, the tax rate and amount, and the place of supply. The form asks for each of these when GST is selected.

Can I add my logo and signature?

Yes. Upload a logo or signature image, or draw your signature on screen. Images are cleaned and resized in your browser before they are used.

Is anything I type uploaded?

No. The form, the preview and the PDF are all made in your browser. Drafts are kept on your device only, so you can pick up where you left off, and you can delete them from the menu at any time.
