When the customer agrees, choose "Make an invoice from this". Items, prices and customer details are copied and the quotation number is kept as the reference.

No. A quotation is an offer. Each page notes that it is not a tax invoice.
Is anything I type uploaded?
No. The form, the preview and the PDF are all made in your browser. Drafts are kept on your device only, so you can pick up where you left off, and you can delete them from the menu at any time.
